What does your photo say about you?
Photos carry hidden data: where they were taken, which device took them, and when. Look at it, then remove it. The file never leaves this tab.
What this tool does
- Reads
- GPS position, camera and lens serial numbers, camera make and model, dates and time zone, owner and author names, comments, embedded thumbnails, maker notes, editing software, and data hidden after the picture.
- Removes
- All of the above, from JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, HEIC and AVIF files.
- Keeps
- The picture itself, byte for byte. By default also the rotation and the colour profile.
- Proof
- After cleaning, the result is read back and checked. A checksum of the picture data is shown for the original and the copy: they match.
- Does not cover
- The file's name, anything visible in the picture (faces, street signs, reflections), and video files.
Original files are never changed. You download clean copies. How it works and how to check it.
